Prof. Avner Yayon, Ph.D., M.D.
President and Chairman
Prof. Yayon is a pioneer and world-renown researcher in polypeptide growth factors, the extracellular matrix and the mechanisms underlying human skeletal disorders. He was the scientific founder of ProChon Biotech Ltd. and served as its President and CSO since 1996. ProChon developed an advanced cartilage repair product, BioCart™II and was later acquired by Histogenics. Prof. Yayon holds a Ph.D. and M.D. from the Hebrew University and Hadassah Medical School of Jerusalem. He served as a Research Associate in the department of surgical research at Harvard Medical School, and as Associate Professor of Molecular Cell Biology at the Weizmann Institute of Science.

Shimon is bringing more than 23 years of experience in commerce, sales and marketing, business development, manufacturing and logistics, with more than 15 years of experience as a high-level manager.

Shimon holds an M.B.A. from IDC Herzliya and B.A in Economics & Business Administration from Bar Ilan University.
Neomi Enoch, C.P.A, M.B.A
Chief Finance Officer
Neomi brings a vast experience as a CFO in global companies traded at NASDAQ and Tel Aviv stock exchange. Neomi led the IPO of Partner communication company at NASDAQ, and The IPO of Mul-T-Lock company in Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and raised funds from the capital market as CFO of Meuhedet HMO and Supersal Ltd. Neomi serves as a director at Mekorot Water Company, Kalil industries, Exel solutions group and Petrochemical plants in Israel Ltd. Neomi is a CPA and holds an M.B.A from Bradford University, cum laude and B.A from Tel Aviv University.
Tamar Auerbach, Ph.D
VP Research & Development
Tamar has over 15 years of experience in the biotech sector. Prior to joining Procore, she served in various biotech companies, managing multidisciplinary teams. She was focused on research and development and managed to gain extensive knowledge in the development of pharmaceuticals and innovative medical devices over the years. Further Tamar is experienced in a varied field, including protein analytics, project management, production processes, quality, pre-clinical, regulatory and clinical operations.
Tamar holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the lab of Prof. Ada Yonath.
Eilat Bain Ph.D., M.D.
Production & Operation Manager
Eilat is a seasoned biotech professional and has extensive experience in product development and operations, transfer of technology and production to sites in the U.S. and Europe for clinical trials and manufacturing. Prior to joining Procore, Eilat served as Director of Operations at Hemostemix Ltd. and before that led the cell therapy unit at Macrocure Ltd. and Theravitae Ltd. Eilat holds a B.Sc. in Biology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Tali Amir-Azulay M.A.
Clinical Trials Director
Tali brings 20 years of experience from the biotech and biopharmaceutical industries in variety of roles. As director of Clinical Operations, Tali is responsible for the leadership, management and accountability of the Clinical Operations department. Prior to joining Procore, Tali held several positions in clinical stage companies and in CROs, where she was responsible for the operational execution of clinical trials in different indications and for biometric activities. She has a master’s degree in experimental psychology from the Bar-Ilan Univeristy in Israel, and bachelor’s degrees in psychology from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, Germany.
